Every step of creation is done personally by Denise Gu, except for casting which goes to a local reputable casting house.

She utilises a combination of traditional metalsmithing, completely hand fabricated and modern technology depending on design.

From the sketching, to CAD or wax carving, to forging and melting metal, stone setting, everything is done at her workbench in her closed studio.

No mass production, each piece is from her hands to yours.

There is also no doubt that she's a self proclaimed Crazy Cat Lady. All creations are completed under the judgement of 3 resident studio cats - Yuki, Tofu and Boris.

They're so heavily involved in the process that they get part of the name. Lar - Näu (aka Meow).
