The close support of another is unlikely to ever be considered unnecessary. Their presence creates a synergy in your character that you wouldn’t have achieved on your own. There is always something special about that warmth when someone rests their hands on yours. This is the story I wanted to tell with this collection, and as always through the use of unique natural gems with character and buttery gold.

 

THE COLLECTION

A collection featuring overlapping tourmaline, ruby, emerald and topaz in pairs. When observed carefully they display hues mingling in intriguing harmony. A symbiotic embrace where support yields surprising beauty.

 

THE STONES

ROSE CUT GEMS

Captivated by the subtle allure of organic rose-cut gems, their facets send flashes of triangles.
Much like life's moments, they are beautifully imperfect, and this intriguing dimension makes them truly one of a kind.

 

ROSE CUT RUBIES

Special note about the rubies used in this collection as they are untreated to show the beautiful striations that are formed from the pressures underground. Many of these types of rubies will be treated with glass to try to diminish appearance of those lines.
I feel that they are gorgeous just as they are as they tell the story of weather great pressures only to emerge even more beautiful after facing stress.
These inclusions are however points of weakness in the crystal lattice so care should be taken against dropping and strong knocks as the ruby can shatter. Also avoid extreme changes in temperature as will put stress on the stone causing damage.

 

THE EFFECT

One stone lays gently on top of another, When viewed from different angles you will catch a glimpse of a beautiful flash of colour through the paler gem.
